Uteco group at The XXXIII Autumn Congress, organized by GIFLEX

Uteco recently participated at the XXXIII Autumn Congress organized by GIFLEX which was held in Rome on September 12th and 13th. Arrow Film installs Uteco press and Bimec Slitter

Arrow Film Converters Ltd has recently announced its third new Uteco Printing Press which is due for installation and commissioning at the beginning of December. This new investment is expected to be fully operational at the first week of January 2018. 

Additionally, the company also announced that during September this year, they have commissioned a Uteco Rainbow Laminator and two new Bimec Slitter/Rewinders, representing a €2.4 million investment.

Uteco has new partner in Germany

The Italian machinery manufacturer Uteco has contracted Eswe-Flex as their sales partner for Northern Germany. IPL Maschinenvertriebsgesellschaft will remain the service partner for entire Germany, and sales partner for South of Germany.

Gravure printing with water based inks

Uteco, BASF and FLINT, along with an important converter, formed a working team for the development of water based inks for them to be able to offer to their customers top level solutions for rotogravure printing. 

The first tests gave positive results. They were also able to introduce some improvements during the second stage including optimization of cylinders’ engraving, optimization of the drying system, optimization of machine parameters, resins and ink improvement, and new software and hardware of ESA system.

Uteco presents the Gaia digital press at Labelexpo

In front of a large delegation from China, Uteco has presented its latest development, the Gaia digital printing press. GAIA is driven by the JetINX Printhead Drive and Ink Recirculation system. The 4 colour printing press offers resolution up to 720 x 360 dpi, throughput speed up to 25 m/min, and uses photoinitiator-free inkjet, EB-curable inks from INX Digital.
