EVO XD for the leading packaging company in Malaysia

Interpress Printers (IPP), is a young company focused on the printing of fast-food packaging and operates from headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. IPP has already built up a fine reputation among its customers and is currently enjoying a period of dynamic growth. To accommodate the flood of new business, production capacity is now to be expanded at new premises in the Malaysian capital. Dainichiseika Invests in KBA-Flexotecnica’s EVO XD

Dainichiseika Color & Chemicals Mfg. Co., Ltd., One of Japan’s leading ink manufacturers, has made the decision to invest in KBA-Flexotecnica’s EVO XD.
The EVO XD will be used to test new water-based inks which are specifically made for printing on plastic films.
The version chosen by Dainichiseika is engineered for a web width of 1320 mm and cut-off lengths between 370 and 850 mm. This will be used for printing in films, thin and sensitive “breathable” LDPE, laminated materials and paper.

KBA Start 2017 on a High Note

On its 200th year, the Koenig & Bauer group began with a 20.7% higher order intake to €321.5m, while their revenue remained the same as the previous year’s. Their order backlog rose by 6.4% and EBIT jumped from €2.1m to €5m.
According to CFO Dr Mathias Dahn, the progress was due to the group’s focus on packaging and printing and their 2016 service initiative.
