Uteco signed 10 contracts during K 2016

During the K 2016, Uteco welcomed about 600 visitors from all over the world at their stand. That is 40% more than the influx of 2013. Among visitors, there were numerous Brand Owners and managers of major international groups.

In addition to the high turnout and interest shown towards the solutions presented, Uteco reports that they have signed 10 contracts, with a total value of EUR 13 million.

Collin reports a successful K expo

According to German manufacturer Dr Collin their exhibition appearance triggered huge response and positive feedback. The main issues of the exhibition appearance were modularity, flexibility and upscaling, the presentation of numerous innovation as well as the new product line Polytest Line for quality control during extrusion.

230,000 visitors at K 2016

230,000 trade visitors from over 160 countries were welcomed to the exhibition halls (3,285 exhibitors) over the eight days of K 2016. Companies reported a host of new leads, many of which already led to closed deals over the eight days of the trade fair.

Some 70% of the visitors came from abroad, and more than 40% of all foreign visitors hailed from overseas. Nearly 30,000 experts came from South, East and Central Asia. Guests from India again constituted the biggest group here but the number of visitors from China, South Korea and Iran also rose significantly

Bimec presents compact slitter

At the K expo, Bimec will exhibit its new duplex turret slitter rewinder TCA64-C+. This slitter has been designed tocombine all the advantages and the performances given from the compact design and from the ones with separate unwind stand at 3500 mm in length. The machine offers the possibility of splicing on a proper table and a short web path under running board and well isolated from the floor to guarantee the hygiene standards and prevent any contamination of the material from dust .

The machine rewinds finished rolls up to 600 mm of diameter at a max speed of 800 m/min.

At K, Comexi (Hall4/B21) is presenting its new products developed for the different steps of flexible packaging converting. In lamination visitors will have the opportunity to discover the different solutions in laminators with and without solvents, like Comexi ML1 and Comexi SL2. The Comexi Nexus Futura guarantees a holographic finish thanks to the Cast & Cure technology, creating a visual register effect using a UV lacquer, without the need for laminating and completely free of VOC. It also offers copy protection to guarantee the genuineness of the packaging.
