Amcor installs HP Indigo 20000

Switzerland-based flexo packaging supplier Amcor has installed the HP Indigo 20000 Digital Press in its facility in Ghent, Belgium.
The company first installed the HP Indigo 20000 in 2015 when they tested it for ink migration, compatibility, and strength. According to Thierry De Schryver, Amcor Ghent Manager, they were pleased with the results.
HP Indigo general manager Alon Bar-Shany says they look forward to the partnership with Amcor as they continue to provide digitally printed packaging.

HP Indigo Pack Ready to have Commercial Launch

The HP Indigo Pack Ready Lamination system is scheduled to have its customer beta testing launch this summer and the shipping of its first units by the end of 2017.
Pack Ready produces laminations for the HP Indigo 20000, 8000, and WS6800 without adhesives and is designed for immediate pouch converting.
The complete solution includes the Pack Ready Laminator and the Pack Ready Film, which has a heat-activated polymer layer that reacts immediately with the Indigo ElectroInk for quick lamination.

BASF announces cooperation with HP Indigo

BASF has recently entered a strategic collaboration with HP Indigo. Both companies will collaborate to develop water-based adhesive solutions for flexible packaging that are specially tailored for the requirements of the HP Indigo ElectroInk process, a highly flexible and fast digital printing process.

Swiss flexible packaging printer O. Kleiner has installed its second HP Indigo 20000. All orders for the two HP20000 presses and the laminating line, purpose-built for digital printing orders, will be run in a 2-shift operation.

Enplater buys its second HP Indigo 20000 digital printing press

Spain based Enplater has installed its second HP Indigo 20000 digital printing press as it expands its offering to the local food packaging sector.
 Enplater reports that the press facilitates them with the benefits of reduced delivery times and new digital application possibilities such as personalisation which is in growing demand.
