Eaglewood launches anilox laser cleaning solution

Eaglewood Technologies introduces Laserlox, a system that has been designed uniquely for flexible packaging and narrow web converters to compliment the Sanilox Systems.
Laser technology combined with a special software package allows the user to easily clean ink and coating chemistries of all types. The Laserlox Flexi allows to clean multiple narrow web rolls or a combination of rolls and sleeves up to 88” (2240 mm) in length with one machine.

Anilox cleaning device with unique feature

Austria based 3-P-Services GmbH has developed the Opticlean Anilox device for chemical anilox roller cleaning. What's unique about the system is that the anilox roller is rotating on two rubber rollers. The manucaturer claims that this measure improves the cleaning result significantly. The rollers facilitate a even coverage of the cleaning agent across the anilox roller, and puts some pressure on the dried ink within the cell.

Recyl makes giant leaps in ultrasonic cleaning

At Drupa Recyl will present a new ultrasonic anilox cleaning unit. This cleaning machine integrates multiple functionalities that were historically fragmented.

The new range of machines, christened NextWave by Recyl, incorporates the NexTgen Inside ultrasonic generators from the French firm SinapTec. Additionally, the NexTgen ultrasonic Analyser is a measuring device to diagnose and monitor the efficiency of your ultrasonic cleaning equipment. These functions are natively integrated in SinapTec NexTgen generators.

Harper Corporation appointed Ronald “Lee” Kluttz President of Harper Corporation of America and Harper International Corporation. He is the grandson of founders Ron and Katherine Harper.

Throughout his career, he has risen through the ranks of the company. Previous roles have included various manufacturing positions, Technical Analyst, Customer Service and Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Manager, Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, and, since 2011, Vice President of Operations.

Harper Corporation strengthens their team

The global anilox supplier has hired Patrik Hogan and Bill Ruttan. Hogan is serving as Technical Graphics Advisor for the Midwest Region. He has an extensive knowledge of flexo and gravure pinting and expertise in graphic arts.

Ruttan works as Southeast Technical Graphics Advisor. He has 29 years of experience in the industry ranging from press operation to graphics manager, and is a flexo and offset professional.
