Wipak Group acquires 4 slitters Comexi S1 DT

Wipak Group has just acquired 4 Comexi S1 DT slitters, which joints the rest of Comexi’s slitters and laminators that the firm has already installed at its several productive plants all around the world.  The alliance between Wipak and Comexi dates back to 2005 when the global group purchased its first Comexi slitter. Nowadays, with these new acquisitions, the firm doubled its confidence in Comexi.

Kampf delivers the 1,000th slitting machine type Conslit

At the end of the year, Kampf Schneid- und Wickeltechnik GmbH Co. KG in Wiehl celebrates a very special milestone: the 1,000th Conslit slitting machine. And here, only the machines have been counted since 1993 - many years before, this type of machine - then known as KS104 or KS 106 - was in international demand. A few days ago, the “Anniversary-Conslit” was successfully tested in the presence of the customer at the Mühlen plant and is shipped to Technofilms in Guatemala. Technofilms S. A., founded in Guatemala in 2000, is part of the Plastilene Group with headquarters in Colombia.

Skymark is investing in new integrated slitting and laser technology to expand its capabilities within the hygiene, personal care and flexible packaging markets it supplies.
Skymark has purchased a Universal X6lp with high powered Rofin laser and slitter rewinder by Universal Converting Equipment. The state-of-the-art technology has the ability to scribe, laser perforate and slit at high speeds.

IMS Deltamatic opens new production site in Italy

IMS Deltamatic Group – the owner of brands such as GOEBEL IMS, ROTOMAC, DELTAMATIC and KASPER – has recently started the production in its new manufacturing plant in Seriate, Italy. Due to exponential increases in demand across all brands, IMS Deltamatic S.p.A. expanded its production with the new 9,000 m2 manufacturing facility in order to offer its customers the highest quality from one source. KAMPF slitters producing successfully at I PAK

The KAMPF primary slitter type Universal 89/12 BOPP and a Unislit II 630 slitter are already running successfully at Packaging Films PVT. Ltd. (I PAK) in Lahore, Northern Pakistan. 

I Pak’s decision to invest in the 8.7 m wide BOPP Line was made in response to the growing demand for packaging material in the northern region of Pakistan. Both machines from KAMPF were able to meet the requirements.

Enprom installs a new eS2D slitter at Poligal

Enprom Packaging has installed a new central surface slitter (double drum) at Poligal, Portugal. It will help to increase rewinding and slitting capacity of secondary products and the acceptance by two companies took place in May of this year.   
This eS2D slitter includes splicing table, shaftless pickup unwinder, slitting unit, a main frame, two drums and trim extraction. It can also incorporate automatic rewinding arms positioning and automatic knife positioning.
